via Daily Prompt: Cavity

There’s a hole where there once was space

Fulfilment and love with hue

Stalactite’s and mites of time displayed

Of her life when she was a two

The cavity of souls is a painful place

Where grief and loss seem true

The Others were there, so heavily laid

There, burdened despair grew

To be like them, the Others haste

To feed off, keep her blue

For she’s a keeper, to be slayed

For her this party, we threw

There’s a hole where there once was space

Where dejection and woe are hue

Her laughter, love and happiness fade

Of her life when she was a two

Thank you for reading my poems.
