via Daily Prompt: Lecture

She saw beneath his words of scold and detriment

A tirade of criticism and accusation

His insecure explanations

spat ideological virtue

He demands, his thesis of trials and tribulations

catching just a twinkle, of her disdain

You’ll show me respect

or deem affliction

His hell has lent, an audience for his discourse

Remnants of sanity and demure

His virility awakens

antagonism explored

To err is human, spite madness embraced

Two and a moment, anxious await

The knights in neighbours

lecture, freedom!

A poem based on the story of the The Lost Girls : The True Story of the Cleveland Abductions” and an article written by fellow blogger: https://theanonymouswritersnotebook.com/
